To add to this list, please ask us a question
and we'll answer it for you...
Do I get a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree?
No. You will receive a certificate, not a degree. The Silicon Valley
Executive Business Program program is not a substitute for the learning
experience associated with an MBA or other graduate business degree
programs. However, our certificate program does provide functional,
real-world content and experience in a shorter time frame than an MBA
degree program.
Is the Silicon Valley Executive Business Program for me?
The Silicon Valley Executive Business Program provides an excellent
business foundation for those who hold non-business degrees and provides
an excellent refresher for executives who already have an MBA.
If I need professional education credits for my profession, does
this program satisfy those needs?
You'll need to check with your industry association. This program is
offered for 8 units of credit. Your assignments, projects and participation
will be evaluated during the program and you will receive a letter grade.
Participants in the Silicon Valley Executive Business Program may find
taking a credit class from UCSC Extension means that they can more easily
receive tuition reimbursement from their companies.
Do I receive credit toward a degree?
Where Extension courses may be applied toward degrees, students should
obtain specific information about acceptance of Extension credit from
the Admissions Office of a particular campus or institution.
